Highlight from “Magnetic Sponsoring” part 1

 

 

 

When you think of Magnetic Sponsoring you kind of think of the picture above, right?

 
I’m sure most of us could benefit from becoming a Sponsoring Magnet and attracting people to us like this.

 
It’s kind of funny how things work out. I’ve always subscribed to Romans 8:28 that says: “All things work together for good.” It still makes me chuckle when I see it actually working out in my life. Sometimes a bad situation can evolve into something with a lot of positive benefits.

 
For example, a few months ago, I blew my back out. It was BAD! I could hardly move, definitely couldn’t work and I was in severe pain for a week. I was able to go back to work (as a painter) the following week, but not without the help of a lot of medication and a back brace. I was moving pretty slow, but as always I got the job done!

 
My point is, that while I was laying on the floor, I happened to look up on my book shelf and saw a copy Of Magnetic Sponsoring, by Mike Dillard. You could say my gaze was drawn to it like a magnet (ha). I asked Christine to hand it to me and I began to read it again.

 
It’s a short little book, only 59 pages, but man is it power packed with truth and things you just don’t readily hear in your typical on line business experience. It’s one of those books that changes you from the inside out and you can’t help but think and act differently once you’ve absorbed its contents.

 

Magnetic Sponsoring should be required reading for all marketers.

 

It will certainly save you a lot of headaches and wasted time.

 
This little synopsis is only an attempt to peak your interest. The book is well worth the cost and I’m pretty sure Mike Dillard is even giving away a free 7 day boot camp series with it. Mike always gives more than he takes and that’s the kind of people I like to do business with.

Once I began writing this I realized I’m going to have to break it down into several parts. There are just too many golden nuggets to squeeze them into one article. Since this is the first one…we’ll call it “part 1” (sound reasonable?)

 

1. “People don’t join a Business, they join YOU!” “People are looking for leadership that offers them value. The more valuable you become to others the more they will seek you out.”

2. We all want to take pride in our products and we don’t want to represent junk. The real truth is…It’s Not About The Product! “Your Business is Marketing!” You provide a Marketing System to your distributors. The Marketing System sells your company’s products. A system is just “a standardized set of tools and instructions” that you apply in a methodical and consistent manner.

3. This is where we start to mix in the awesome sauce. Ultimately, your system needs to do more than just sell products. The system along with your own personal efforts, need to combine to develop leadership. Leadership in yourself and leadership within your team.

“The greatest benefit this industry provides is not the money, the time, or even the friendships. It’s what this industry can make of you. The person YOU become.”

So Simple, yet so profound…

Amazing how some of the most simple things in life just come along and hit you like a ton of bricks.
I woke up this morning to a facebook post by a young Scottish friend of mine that did just that.
Hit me like a ton of bricks.
It’s not that I haven’t heard it said before. I’ve heard it quite a few times actually, but this time it was different.
Or maybe, I was different this time when I heard it! Think about that for a minute.

With everything we do, with every increase in knowledge we become changed. Things that didn’t make sense yesterday are sometime crystal clear today.

That’s how it was for me this morning.

This is what my friend Fraser McDonald started my day with:

“No one joins you because of the opportunity you are in.

People join you in your opportunity because they want to work with YOU.

So…

If you are one of those people who promote your business 24/7, then stop.

Remember there are hundreds if not thousands of other people who are in the same opportunity as you, promoting it.

You need to stand out from the crowd.

Promote yourself and your business will grow at an exponential rate.”

Pretty simple, right?

Maybe, the time is right for you too and maybe this will hit home with you today.
We are moving into a brand New Year in just a few short hours.

Maybe, we should all pause for a moment and re-evaluate how we’ve been doing business.

Connect with people and build relationships.

I think I’ll make that my Resolution for the New Year, and of course I’ll lose weight and get healthy too.

2013 Was A Good Year!

While I’ve got some time I wanted to take a minute and review the year that is almost behind us now. I think far too often we get caught up in life and feel as if we are not making the progress we should. I hope you all will take a minute and do a similar review and give yourself a pat on the back. If at the end of your review you don’t feel like much has been accomplished then…Do Something about It!

Some of the things that stick out most for me in 2013 were…

After 30 years of living in Apartments and Condo’s. We were able to build a beautiful new home in Arizona. That was a tremendous personal accomplishment for me. One I am grateful for every day.
In Business matters I achieved a new mental clarity and I stopped chasing the wind and all the shiny objects that blow like the wind. I settled in on something I love to do and something I’m good at. Health and Nutrition.
Christine and I both have increased our own health from these products and we are helping others with their Nutrition and Weight Loss Needs. We’re also adding a lot more Energy and Vitality to our lives.
I attended some Great seminars, because I never want to stop learning how to be a benefit to others. I re-connected with some good friends from days gone by.

 

 

I read some good books or listened to them on audible.
“The Science of Getting Rich”, “Think and Grow Rich”, “Magnetic Sponsoring”, “The Richest Man in Babylon”, “The Cash Flow Quadrant” and

“How to Win Friends and Influence People in the Digital Age”.
More Importantly I actually applied the principles that I’ve learned from these books…and the most amazing thing is I Began To Get Results!
The changes that I wanted to see in my life are now happening before my eyes.
Seeing the goals and visions that I held in thought begin to materialize has rooted me in the Universal truth, that we really do create our own reality.

Family, Work and Relationships have all become more amazing. Once again I feel that life is full of promise. Regardless of political corruption and inept government filled with greedy fools, I have hope for the future.
I have hope for the future because I know I am responsible for creating it. That’s what I do moment by moment and thought by thought.
As Napoleon Hill and so many others have said “Thoughts do become Things”.
It’s rare that I get this excited about a coming year, but I am seriously looking forward to helping many people bring their Health and their life back in balance. More Energy, Weight Loss, or a new Business Venture. I am positioning myself to add abundance. To help Increase other peoples income as well as their peace of mind.
I’m looking for serious people to join me in this effort. Would you like to make this mission your own?
One thing I’m certain of…If you don’t take a look you’ll never know what you missed out on.

After reading all this I hope me saying to you…. HAPPY NEW YEAR, will take on a whole new meaning.
